Can't figure out which mechanical job to pick in Air Force?
Okay so I'm in DEP now and I am currently in school for automotive at UTI and know I want a mechanical job. I'm just having a hard time trying to figure out which mechanical job to pick . I don't want to get stuck with a job I hate please help.There so many I'm all confused.
I want to work on planes but i have heard some story's of people in the service that really hate their jobs and i don't want to be like that since I want to do 10+ years I don't want to be stuck with a job I hate.

I'm an air transportation specialist and we have nothing to do with maintenence or mechanics. I would suggest if you want to work on planes do aircraft maintenance. They have a rule, if you lose a tool you have to stay till you find it, but most people enjoy their job. Air cargo is more like chore boys.

It depends if you want to work on the planes, or if you want to work with the cargo of the planes...or if you don't want planes all together. I'm Air Transportation and we do the cargo with the planes (loading and unloading, space a flights etc.) It's a pretty neat job. There's a lot to see with this job.
