The god of the Bible is a god of violence, right?

From Genesis through Revelations, in the context of the Bible as a whole, he acts as a jealous, selfish, tyrant with violence more often than not. The only times he seems to be good are in those parts taken out of context mostly in the New Testament. He seems to be conceived in violence, propagated through violence, and our future under his no dissent rule predicted by the Bible is violence again (Armageddon and eternal hell for his enemies). I am still looking for a god of peace and love not violence. The three faiths based on the Bible, in part, in whole, and with additional volumes (Judaism, Christianity and Islam) are in the so called holy land engaged in a dominate or be dominated, no holds barred, war today. No hope there. Where do I seek???

After i learned to hate god, everything came into focus. (i realized god is like water, or dirt, or air, or space. every time i take a pi** god gets contaminated, and and a whole new system is the effect. It is like pi**ing in the pool. Take into consideration, you can blame god for everything.

Which god are you refering? If it's Jehovah our God, I disagree in what you said, for he is a one true and loving God. On the other hand, there is also a god refered to in the bible- Satan, whom the bible called the god of this system of things.
