meet the parents, great outdoors, bluestreak - good quality comedies

misery, hannibal(s), carrie - good horror films

goonies, pirates, young guns 1 or 2...

it is such a hard question to answer - too many good movies!

westerns always are the last to think of, but always turn out to be a good choice - open range is a great movie.

also movies like the patriot, shallow hal, romeo and juliet, etc... are all good
