It is easy to hate any team that takes on the appearance of a dynasty. For all the people who think only the Pats cheat ....you probably think Barry Bonds is the only steroid user in baseball too....dont you? You are correct , they didnt actually "cheat" at worse with the rules they did violate the integrity of the game, just like most teams did and still do. Anyone see the Jaws (Ron Jaworski for the idiots) interview where he told the world that he was getting sideline info and hit a bomb on the first play the other team went into a specific coverage? Happens all the time....we had a guy in the stands in HIGH SCHOOL who watched for tendencies and hand signaled to the bench so we could get into proper coverages...20 some years ago. Welcome to reality Pats haters (and sadly I am a Lions fan, not a Pats fan). They DID NOT break a rule, the rule wasnt in place as currently written during the time in question. Sucks for the team that got "outcoached" I guess.

He broke the rules of videotaping the other teams defensive signals. Every team was given a memo at the beginning of the year telling teams what they could not do, he ignored ithe memo.

People need to realize he is the "smartest coach in football". But how could he misunderstand the rules. Oh, that's right he knew what he was doing, and that was CHEATING.

They cheated by taping the coaches signals not the game. But it doesn't really matter because they got beat when it counted by a classier organization.

I agree....I think they went waaaaaaay to far with the punishment. If "they" investigated close enough to every team they all would be getting fined and a bad rapp even after 6 months.
