Computer experts - help!?
Up until last Fri everything was fine with my Yahoo! Mail Classic (hate the Beta version). Then on Sat. I couldn't open any of my attachments, not even the old ones. Usually, when I click Download Attachment, a question will pop up Do you wish to open or save this attachment? Now I don't even get this question! At the bar at the bottom of the screen, it says "Connecting to site 202.156.9.3" and then nothing happens. I'm using IE 7, but I tried changing browser to Firefox. It still doesn't work. What is this site 202.156.9.3 that I get re-directed to? I've been doing full system anti-virus scans so that's not the problem. All the attachments say No virus threats detected. I'm getting desperate! Someone pls help! Thanks.

202.156.9.3 resolves to a site called maxonline.com.sg (from Singapore). I'm not quite sure what it is but you should run a good anti-spyware application like Spybot S&D from http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html (it's free). See what that throws up.

Dear Sandy..
I really dont know this would work or not.. but just try..
first navigate to here
C drive
WINDOWS folder
SYSTEM 32 folder
DRIVERS folder
etc folder
and
you will see < hosts >
and open HOSTS file with note pad..... ( just click that .. it will ask which to open ... select note pad from list )
now in that you will something like this written..
like this
**********************************************************************
# Copyright (c) 1993-1999 Microsoft Corp.
#
# This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.
#
# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
# entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should
# be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.
# The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one
# space.
#
# Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual
# lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol.
#
# For example:
#
# 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server
# 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host
127.0.0.1 localhost
