I turned on the computer and have no Internet connection?

I have a sprint sp660 on embarq,ever since they took over Sprint. I've tried repowering and reconnecting everything. My phone still works though. Tech support suggested replacing the phone line from the wall which I did, no change. We lost power 5 days ago but I think it's worked since then. The DSL ACT light is not on but my computer is showing a lan connection of 100mb and it says local connection 4 now connected where do I go next?

It's actually my Grandmother's in Florida I'm in New Hampshire. Thanks, after IM'ing tech support twice and researching the modem I'm having her call tech support I think she's going to require a visit from them

    ask tech support to fix it NOW they are supposed to do that!
