How do I make smocked fabric?
I just bought a piece of it at JoAnn's but I have some fabric that I would like to do the same thing on. I have a simple basic machine. Is there a way I can smock my own fabric?

Sure you can. Smocking is a very old technique. You just make narrow pleats and then do some sewing on top of them to hold them in place. Here are some sites
