Is Jennifer Jones having trouble reading ice because the other teams have different releases?
Do you think that Team Canada's JJ is having trouble with the ice because she normally uses the other skip's ice calls as the basis for her own, or is she just having trouble this week period? I think the soft club-curler style releases on most of the other teams are really impacting her ice reads.
She won that semi, but I think she's still having more trouble with the ice than I've seen at a scotties - she crashed a few times and stayed out too far trying to get buried a couple times too.
Canada-China 3 in the final should be interesting!

That's the conclusion that most of the talking heads I've seen have come to...

Jenny does seem to be off her game. I think the club-curler style in the hands of really talented players might be throwing her.
What we're seeing is Middaugh type shots with my skip calling me to make my middling shots. e.g he'll never make the draw so lets call this blind lucky in-off and see what happens type of shot. How do you defence blind BS luck.
If the season plays true to form when the ice collapses this weekend we'll see how the kids react.
