2007 Philippine Bar Exams Results - Questionable?

1. Is it time to change the primitive exams with questions answerable by handwritten essay-type answers?

2. Is the Supreme Court proper in expediting the deliberation of the results even when the passing percentage was very low because most of the Justices are busy depending their corrupt President?

    1. You are intitled to your own opinion for your 1st and 2nd questions, either you are pinoy or not.

    2. You're right it maybe primitive. Exams should be progressive. Should be suited to the present, and have vision for the future.

    3. Accussed remain innocent until proven guilty.

    1. no way. it should be the same as it used to be. true or false ; multiple choice and selection type questions must be discouraged. these downgrades the proficiency of would-be lawyers in answering and responding to hypothetical questions given in a real court proceedings.

    2. there is always that time settled principle on the presumption of regularity in the performance of an official and/or ministerial function. unless proven by strong and convincing evidence, we are not in a position to doubt the legality of the delliberations of the bar results. if we a low percentage of passers, the presumption is that majority flunked because of many reasons. it may be that this is not yet their time to become lawyers. as lawyers and law students, we have to respect the decisions of the highest court of the land so that our neighbors will also respect it.

    The neurality would be questionable; however there has to be some sort of measurable quality to the current constitution. The supreme court should not get involved, it still has the duty to interpret laws, and if they are dependant upon a "corrupt" president, definately not.
