    Hello "r_almeida_2000":

    How are things going?

It's So Perceptive of you to ask!

As you can tell by the 8+ posts here~

many Americans have no clue how to

    answer your question.

To be specific about your question?

    1) Our Political Election Process

is in the first stages. We vote in

    what is called State "Primaries"~

to select candidates in *2 major

    "Parties". *Democrats & Rebublicans!

    Each candidate gets "Delegates"

commited to them based on how

many votes they got. The more delegates~

the stronger the chance to move on!

Next is the Pol. Party Conventions:

    2) This Summer the 2 major political

parties will select their "Tickets" for a

    President & a Vice-President. This is

based on how many delegates they have.

The Dems. & Repub. will then mount their

    *National Political Campaigns, after both

    parties select a Vice-Presidental Ticket.

    3) In *Early November '08 the voters

will then vote who they want to be

    President from the National ballots.

The voters have NO Say in who the

Vice-Presidents are. If one votes for a

Repub. President~ it is an automatic

vote, for their V.P. Repub. Ticket.

    Who might Win?

Right now, no one knows for certain~

because the Political "mud" is just

starting to FLY! We are only in Stage #1.

There are essentially 3 Pres. Contenders.

    Senator John McCain~

as the Delegate Winner for Repub. Party~

    & the Demo's have:

    Senator Barack Obama

    & Senator Clinton.

Sen. Obama is the Leading Delegate,

    Front-Runner as it stands now~

    in the Primary Process.

This Nat. Political Campaign here, will be

    RUTHLESS~ until the Nov. Election.

People & the Media are attacking all

Candidates. Race & Religion are apparent

    Key Factors AGAINST Obama!

Female Gender & past Politcal behaviors

    are smeared against Hillary Clinton!

Old AGE & "Bush Politics as Usual" are

    smeared against the Repub. McCain.

    In November (after Pol.Conventions)

I have a feeling that the Nat. Campaign

will be McCain (Rep) vs. Obama (Dem).

But much can happen until then.

    Vice-Presidents have NOT even been

    decided yet!

Americans are pretty NAIVE & Gullible!

    ANYTHING can happen. Most will

    "VOTE-Their-FEARS" & not vote by

    Intelligent Selection.

    If the Electorate Vote FEAR?

    We will have President McCain

(4 more years of basically the SAME)

    If the voters vote~ "Hope"

    & a new Direction?

    We will have Prez Obama!

    It all depends how MANIPULATED

the Electorate will be thru Nov '08!

Hope I have answered your question.

    Who do YOU "like"~

based on what you have heard in Europe.

    Ciao my friend!

"Things" are going about the candidates here like this: Democrats are fighting over 2 candidates who roughly split the vote. Republicans only have 1 candidate. It looks like the end will include the Republican and the half of the Democrat party who will feel jilted.

I think that Barack Obama may win, but I am not so sure. John McCain and Hillary Clinton have about the same polling numbers.

No matter who wins, he or she will not be the best candidate that the United States can get.

The American public has managed to vote for the three most incompetent candidates during the primaries so no matter who gets elected we are still going to be screwed...and so is the rest of the world.

Well, John McCain is pretty much sitting a safe distance away while the democratic party goes into melt down.

Stay tuned for more breaking news as Hillary and Obama continue to duke it out.
