We (the Geordies) have some lovely beaches over here...both in South Tyneside (...South Shields..Seaburn etc) and North Tyneside ( Tynemouth,Cullercoats and Whitley Bay) so i would recommend a nice walk along some of our golden sands...with a few pennies in your pocket so you can have a beer..or chuck them in the amusements..

But bring a jacket..!!! we are known as a hardy bunch...but by the Sea..it can get very cold..!!

The Gate is a very new and vibrant place, crammed full of bars and eateries..crammed full of near naked ladies too.. haha (which is why i go and have a perve.. haha)...this is very close to St James Park, and also close is Chinatown, with some fantastic Buffet places....I recommend Lou Kings...!!

If you into art..!!!??? then The Baltic (down by the Quay side is very hip (not my cup of tea tho)..but if more classic painting is your style then i recommend the Laing art Gallery, which is not far from the Haymarket area..

i have a mega list that i could attach...so if you wanna know more..then get in touch

    Have a brill time..

    Michael
