Why can't I think of what this is?

Ok. For some reason, I'm being drawn to blank on what this is. It's some assignment that I have, and I can't find it on the internet. Does anyone know what the term describing singing with background music is? And a synonym for consanance with 8 letters in it? It's about music, btw.
