Are there any tax accountants here? I'm Overseas and need help!?

IF anyone is familiar with filing taxes when u live overseas i need major help. our tax forms arent the same so i don't know how to fill the US forms out.

Update:

there is alittle more to it...there isno such thing as net or gross income here...no federal tax or social security...theonly piece of paper we get the government does for us on our taxes over here and its only wages for the year...they send us a check..however i still have to file in the states. I qualify for the foreign earned and double income tax forms too. Also my husband is danish so he reports nothing and we haven't registered as married in the states so what do i do then...plus i have a child. then which forms..i can't get help over here and have tried to call irs but they are just robots looking at a screen and won't answer...No one in london will call me back

    You can still hire someone....

Sit down, identify the paperwork you have. If it's wages, you put it on the wage line; interest on the interest line, etc.

    The big differences:

form td f 90-22.1 if you have a bank account of $10K or more.

form 2555 and 2555-ez if you can exlude earned income.

form 1116 if you can get a credit on foreign taxes paid.

form 4868 if you need an extension.

    irs publications 54 and 514.
