What is the best public transport option to Madrid airport?

Closest subway stops to our hostel are Tirso de Molina and Anton Martin

I assume metro goes to the airport?

    And if you do have alot of luggage or several people, try calling Aerocity. But you must reserve in advance. My family of 4 did the metro thing, with 2 changes of train. Plus the walk from the airport metro stop back to the arrivals/departure area is quite a hike. Last year we did aerocity and it was a breeze.

    So take the metro, if you don't have too much luggage.
