What is the answer to 60 divide by 2 and a half?

    = 60/(2 1/2)

    = 60/(5/2)

    = 60(2/5)

    = 120/5

    = 24

    Answer: 24

    Check:

    60 = 24(2 1/2)

    60 = 24(5/2)

    60 = 120/2

    60 = 60

    60/(5/2) = 60 × 2/5 = 24

    60/2.5 = 600/25 = 24

    2 and a half = 2.5

    and 2.5 = (5/2)

    and so...

    60/(5/2) = (60x2)/5 = 120/5 = 24.

    your answer is 24.
