How do I draw a 3d surface (plane) in autocad?

I need to draw a plane that i can union with cones in autocad to create an object that is basically a few cones cut off by a plane. Hopefully this makes sense

    you can draw a plane by using the icon which has a symbol of a square (or rectangle) on it....or use the command "pline"...which will make the object as one (and you can extrude it afterwards to make it 3-dimensional)....about your cones....i cant picture the end object you want to accomplish...hope i was a big help....
