The actual quote from the book "Audacity of Hope" is from page 261 and is as follows: "Of course, not all my conversations in immigrant communities follow this easy pattern. There are plenty of legitimate reasons that Obama should not be President. I keep saying that we don't need to continually look for "good things about him" or bad things. Enough bad is out there for us to know this man in unsuitable.

I am not an Obama supporter but that isn't what he said ....Obama stated "He will stand with his mother country should the political wind shift in an ugly direction" He was speaking of Africa.

I can't believe I am reading some of these responses. Granted I have not read the book (and I doubt many of you posters have either) but he sounds absolutely as American as anyone I know. He says he will stand by AMERICANS who were discriminated against (regardless of their religious or ethnic backrgrounds). Any other assumption is taken out of context. This belief that he is a muslum is absolutely ridiculous propaganda.

I am told the man means what he says.

Ok if it is in his book I'd still want to see the full context. I've noticed he quotes others a lot more than he actually speaks for himself.
