It seems 'child neglect' is catching on in a big way! More shame to this Country...

People like this do make you ashamed to be British abroad. When staying in France, the beaches were always peaceful, French families having fun and behaving themselves. A gang of Brits showed up, shouting, swearing, drinking and thoroughly showing themselves up for what they were. I'm English and I was ashamed to be anywhere near them.
I don't know why some people think its ok to go abroad and drink, leaving their kids alone, they're all disgusting and should be prosecuted for neglect.

No, i hadn't heard that, yet its an exciting progression. I were thinking that one and all murderers want to re-bypass to the scene of the crime and extremely many times grant help and help to police and relatives. yet certainly if there became into an unknown guy helping with the seek police could have theory that suspicious on the time in spite of the undeniable fact that actual the guy regarded on the time.? IF she incredibly became into abducted/murdered then the guy to blame could be conserving an rather close eye on whats going on interior the enquiry. He could be vacationing Gerry's blog and according to possibility even vacationing right here to confirm the theories all of us is coming up with... in basic terms a theory!

What I find disturbing is that this sensible question posted 45 mins ago about a British couple in charge of their 3 young children who were so drunk they could not even stand got 4 answers. 1 of which even seemed sympathetic, ! ! yet a simple question about the McCanns always gets 20 or 30 plus replies. Most of which are abusive to them I wonder why ? Are there degrees of neglect . Is it ok to get so drunk.? This couple where lucky. They had their children returned the next day.

wow... sometimes its embarrasing to be british!!!!
I used to work over in the Algarve, and sorry to say, the British are embarrasing... more than any other nation... I remember one little girl that I ended up 'looking' after for the whole of her holiday, after it became apparant that her mum and her mum's fella where more interested in getting p!ssed in the bars at night and sleeping all day... the poor mite was 8years old, and I noticed her cos she had awful sunburn and blisters all over her face... when I questioned her, it came out her mum slept till 4pm.. only getting up to get ready to go out again... I then asked her to come see me in the mornings (she played on the road outside of where i worked) i made sure i put sunscreen on her, ...lunchtime i fed her... more sunscreen.. ) tea time... her mum done her 'job' .... disgusting ***** she was....
I wonder why we Brits have a bad reputation abroad??? this is just one case that sticks in my mind, and I have lived in several countries in Europe... its not confined to Portugal ;-) ... sun and Brits and cheap beer... well they don't mix.. (and I'm sorry I don't mean to tarr everyone with the same brush, but you just don't see ...for example .. the dutch doing it....
edit michael... how da ya manage to get thumbs down for your answer??? well said hun!!!!! xxx

a classic case to come down heavy on these two "parents" neglect of their children and drunk in public hotel//they should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves and as someone says these kind of people make you embarrassed to be British

Your point being?
It happens, I know it shouldnt get to that stage, but even parents on holiday have a drink you know.
Yes they were irresponsible but at least their children are safe.
