I have a 30 pound bag of popcorn kernels leftover from a fundraising event. It's expired unfortunately. Can it be fed to any type of animal?

Maybe you could donatesome of it to a teacher to use for an art project.
Save it for Christmas, and pop it and string it for the birds this winter.

I wasn't aware popcorn expired. I wouldn't pop it for the birds. You know how awful it is when you get a bit of hull stuck in your throat and you can't get it out. What if that can happen to a bird. Honestly I'd try popping it and see what happens. I've had popcorn for ages and used it and it is okay. I don't think it will poison you that's for sure.

no you would be only effective the popcorn ought to be somewhat stale yet different sensible effective. that is borderline imposable to get unwell off of dry meals like chips, ramen, popcorn and so on. I ate 2 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous cream corn as quickly as and that i replaced into completely effective afterwords.

Pop it to eat anyway! The date is a vague guideline--
it just means that more of the kernels don't pop.
Can you get a giant skillet? Because this sounds perfect for kettle corn (google it)

Try some, more then likely it's still good. I like the other answers....pop it and hang it outside for birds! I never thought of that but it sounds like a great idea. Many schools would love to use them for arts and craft projects, or hey, even for counting.

Bird seed. You could feed it to cattle or pigs if you grind it enough to crack it.
You could pop it and feed it to your neighbours or again grind it for corn meal.
Feeding it as bird seed the birds will grind it themselves in their crops. Unground corn tends to just go straight through most other animals because the seed coat is so tough.
Popping it before feeding solves that though, and even some birds like it better..
I would pop it and feed it to the kids.
Popcorn just gets harder to pop as it gets older.

It should be still good to eat. Try a small batch as a test.
