With all due respect, Lakerfan, hydrogen perioxide is not linear. H2O2 is a polar molecule. It has a dipole moment of 2.28 Debye. Water, in comparison, has a dipole moment of 1.85 D.

NO2 is a free radical since it has one unpaired electron. It has a bent molecular geometry and is polar.

H2O2 non polar; NO2 polar
think about the shape of the molecules; O2 is linear and OH is pulling in each direction so no net pull. for NO2, the Oxygens are pulling in directions making it polar.
