Does a fuse control the backup and license plate lights on a 2000 Ford Mustang?

I noticed one night when my lights were on that the lights that shine on the license plate in the back were not on. Then a few days later I was told that my reverse lights were not working either. Can this be a fuse? Any ideas are great. Thanks in advance!

nope the backup lights are controled by a switch on the transmission, it dose have a fuse but I beleave there are other functions on that fuse. the license plate light are on the same wiring as your running lights so if you running lights are on the bulbs are burnt out of you have a bad ground
