Well, they are definitely moving to Brooklyn in the next 2-3 years. Rumors? Yeah, there was talk about Carmelo, but Denver would be out of their mind to trade Anthony, so no luck for the Nets there. They foolishly overspent on VC and Jefferson will never live up to his expectations. So, I think the Nets are in a situation where they're going to let the contracts of Carter/Jefferson expire before exploring into free agency. But, since they are in the East, the trio of Harris/Carter/Jefferson should have a realistic playoff shot every year.

The main goal is LeBron in 2010. They're going to have to get rid of some hefty contracts, though, to even be in the running....

I heard of the Carmelo trade, but i think that the nuggets wouldn't want to give up their franchise player...jefferson, and carter both of them aren't as good as anthony, and both of them are older...in any case, i think that the nets should try to rebuild, and by that, probably trade carter and jefferson for draft picks, or younger players to start over

    I've heard Melo for Jefferson.

I've also heard of Jay-Z's idea to move them over to Brooklyn.
