Atheists, Christians, Jews, Pagans etc.: You were all born Muslim. So why did you leave Islam?
... was it your parents that convinced you that you weren't muslim? In Islam, all children on earth are automatically muslim, so you left your original religion at some point in your life. Why?
Why some people say this idea is wrong? There are NO 'converts' to Islam... only 'reverts' (returning to their original religion).

Okay, if that's true than I hereby renounce Islam and turn away from it. I am Jewish; my parents were Jewish; my grandparents were Jewish etc etc. I have no interest in Islam; I have no desire to be part of Islam. I reject and renounce any attempt to tell me I am part of Islam. Just because you believe something to be true doesn't automatically make it true. I believe something else...can't we just leave it at that? What happened to tolerance? What happened to respect?

Although ISLAM holds that all children are automatically Muslim, not every religion would agree. If a child learns about Christianity, Judaism or one of the Pagan religions BEFORE they hear of Islam they have not left what they believe to be their original religion. They have grown up in their 'original' religon.
Given a choice between Islam and the religion I am in now, I would not become Islamic -- although I am a Servent of the Divine through my service to MY Gods. They have called me and I honor that call.
Salaam

"In Islam, all children on earth are automatically muslim,"
No, that's an *assertion* of Islam, which everyone outside Islam recognises as having no basis except from one solitary pre-assumed world view.
It's just one of the details which makes many dis-inclined to embrace Islam.
If I had been born to Islam, I hope I would have had access to the information which would cause and enable me to leave it, as I had to do with Christianity.
Despite the risks.
"A poll conducted by the Policy Exchange last year suggested that over a third of young British Muslims believe that the death penalty should apply for apostasy. " (URL)

haaaaa you're funny. well i've created my own religion, and everyone is autimatically born into that too. so why did YOU leave my religion. and it must be true, eh, because it's written (ar rather typed) down.
you do realise that religious belief is simply a mild form of mental illness (although in some cases, like other diseases, there are those who suffer more.)
religious belief is a glitch in our hardwiring that makes us inherently trust our parents. it's a n evolutionary tool, a very good survival 'strategy' keeping infant mortality rates down.
this glitch has, however been 'hijacked' by those who would control the masses, seeking nothing but power and influence for themselves. in reality, no one is born a theist, it's something drummed into people, very often at an impressionable age. it is a lie without basis. ask yourself who gains what from your belief. and don't give me any of that 'communicating with god' rubbish.
this sensation can be repeated reproduced in the lab by over stimulation of the hypothalamus. it is effectively a form of brain epilepsy.
so why do you let people tell you what to do and think? why cheapen life by attributing it to some half baked nonsensical deity who either was having an off day, or is no good in the first place. the 'flaws' in human 'design' are stagering. truely stagering. and if you god can only do a half baked job, then i for one laugh at his incompetence.

I respect your religion and beliefs but I've never considered myself islamic, I was never taught the beliefs therefore I could not be islamic. I did become Pagan because it rings true with me, it has brought me a lot of happiness. I respect you and your religion but I don't necessarily like the fact that you're trying to say that everyone is islamic.

your question is too deep for the most of people, they seem very very ignorant
Consistently, the Quran talks about two deaths, the first death took place when we failed to make a stand with God's absolute authority (Appendix 7). That first death lasted until we were born into this world. The second death terminates our life in this world
[2:28] How can you disbelieve in GOD when you were dead and He gave you life, then He puts you to death, then He brings you back to life, then to Him you ultimately return?
[22:66] He is the One who granted you life, then He puts you to death, then He brings you back to life. Surely, the human being is unappreciative.
[40:10] Those who disbelieve will be told, "GOD's abhorrence towards you is even worse than your own abhorrence towards yourselves. For you were invited to believe, but you chose to disbelieve."
God ALONE:
The Disbelievers Suffer Two Deaths*
[40:11] They will say, "Our Lord, you have put us to death twice, and You gave us two lives; now we have confessed our sins. Is there any way out?"
God ALONE: Note the Reason
[40:12] This is because when GOD ALONE was advocated, you disbelieved, but when others were mentioned beside Him, you believed. Therefore, GOD's judgment has been issued; He is the Most High, the Great.
[40:13] He is the One who continuously shows you His proofs, and sends down to you from the sky provisions. Only those who totally submit will be able to take heed.
[40:14] Therefore, you shall devote your worship absolutely to GOD ALONE, even if the disbelievers dislike it.

As Salaam to you all,
The question will never be answered correctly by the non-believers and especially those who profess to be Atheists, for they have never had any knowledge of being born a Muslim in the first place. If a child was aware of their founding faith, then there would be even more Muslim's than there are today and we would be living in peace but such is life.
To give some idea to these non-believers of where as Muslim's we are coming from, I would like to put forward the following verses of the Glorious Qur'an, which we believe to be the word of Allah (SWT) the God of Muslims, many more faiths, plus the Jews and Christians, even though they reject this claim.
Glorious Qur'an in English, translated by Yusuf Ali:
Al-`Araaf [7:26]
O ye Children of Adam! We have bestowed raiment upon you to cover your shame, as well as to be an adornment to you. But the raiment of righteousness, - that is the best. Such are among the Signs of Allah (SWT), that they may receive admonition! (Adam, the founding father of humanity was a Muslim, i.e. a believer in Allah (SWT) and from whom all future generations came.)
[7:31]
O Children of Adam! wear your beautiful apparel at every time and place of prayer: eat and drink: But waste not by excess, for Allah (SWT) loveth not the wasters.
[7:35]
O ye Children of Adam! whenever there come to you messengers from amongst you, rehearsing My signs unto you,- those who are righteous and mend (their lives),- on them shall be no fear nor shall they grieve.
As-Sajdah [36:60]
"Did I not enjoin on you, O ye Children of Adam, that ye should not worship Satan; for that he was to you an enemy avowed?-
Ghaafir [42:49]
To Allah (SWT) belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. He creates what He wills (and plans). He bestows (children) male or female according to His Will (and Plan). (Allah (SWT) from whom all creation comes is the provider of all children upon this earth and to all generations, it is from Him that we come and it to Him that we shall all return.)
I trust that the statements above may give you some idea of why we believe that all children are born without sin and in the faith of Islam, even though they are unaware of this situation and we call this the individuals choice.
Wa Salaam.

This is a big joke on your intelligence. Remove all oppressive mechanism in Islam and every body would escape Islam. Nobody wants to be in Islam.
