Secularism - For.
Why? Because the other side of this false dichotomy, Religious Faith, is inherently immoral when applied to...well, anything!
When people put those magic letters i, s, and m on the end of what was once a perfectly legitimate word it often makes a mess on the floor that it takes a hell of a lot of crushed up soda crackers to absorb, but in this case, what you probably intended was to connote various political or societal systems of judgment or justified action that do not involve religious faith. The only possible moral answer is to be For political, societal, intersubjective realms to use purely secular viewpoints.
I claim this because...the tools of the secularist are ones which can be shared by any sentient being: reason and argument. The other choice (if you insist on limiting us to the two) is Religious Faith. It is inherently immoral to base actions which (directly) impact others upon religious faith, because you can't justify those actions to others.
For example: if you bomb an elementary school because you believe that your religion demands it, when asked by those effected by your action (such as the parent of a recently dispatched child), your only justification is "God told me to." This is unlikely to convince anyone.
The only modes permissible in the public realm will be secular. There are infinitely many different "ways to be secular" etc. Secularlism is the ultimate big tent. The argument needs to be moved from, "Should we be secular or religious?" to "What sort of secularism is superior to the others?".

Secularism is a broad term, however I would lead towards the general meaning for answer purpose.
Against secularism. A secular vision doesn't allow radical/out of the box solutions aside from......

i mean when your religious beliefs start to disinegrate the integrity of knowledge and logic like when everyone belived that the earth was the center of the univverse and the church rufused to belive it thats wrong ,..
or more recently and an issue that i always struggle to comprhehend or simply grasp the understanding that extreme christians have towards the origin and age of earth.
if you watch any Discovery Channel presentation they will say that the earth is about 4.5 billion years old , but the extremests say NO its 4000. 400yrs ? are you kidding me how can you say that when there is evedence contradicting this belief , the reason why it pisses me off is when i was in christian school this is the kind of **** they put out in these PACE booklets,. they even went so far as to undermine the reliability of radio-carbon dating . so in conclusion when your beliefs hinder knowledge in this kind of way.
however on the other sides defense i would say that some moral values and **** like that found in religion is good..... although it causes wars that last bout 2000 years but religion is good , right ?

I am FOR secularism because with so many religious beliefs in the world, the killings, persecutions of those who do not believe as they do have got to stop. Having said this, I do need some type of personal spiritual enlightenment to cope with my humanity.

Secular Humanism - Against
Seperation of Church & State (Secularism in Government) - For
What particular "secularism" did you wish to discuss?

That's really up to you but if you mean as a personal philosophy , I believe in God myself but in the end if you're a decent human being who treats others with respect that's all that matters. I believe all governments should be secular if you meant it in a more expansive way.
