Help me understand ,how the q/a star rating works?

As im 71 ,i find it dificult to figure out how you arrive at the stars that others seem to be given.

As for myself, i have zero.

Can i give others a star?.

How ,were ,and when.?

    When you ask a question, people can give it a star simply by clicking the little start under it. The one next to "Interesting".

    I just gave you your first star :-) When you find someones question is good just click interesting by the left hand corner.
