How to join or extract video from xvid.r files?

Recently I have downloaded a movie through a link which had a strange extension as .r. The files are appearing like this Unt-tsk-xvid.r04. I dont know how to extract video from these files.

    .r00 file formats are parts of a split .RAR file archive. If you've ever used .ZIP files, RAR files are the same but use different compression techniques. You can download WinRAR from http://www.win-rar.com/download.html and once installed, you should be able to right click one of the files and extract it. All parts of the archive will need to be in the same folder.
