when a cat has rabies and scratches or bites you you can be poisoned the reason why a cat scratch takes longer to heal is because the cats have long claws which dig deep in skin

Felines were born with the equipment to scratch and bring down prey...so even out sweet little pet cats have the big bad deep scratching claws. They are there to bring us pain, I say blame it on their ancestors!

Cuz the nails have germs and dirt on them and get into the cut and sometimes its very deep.

Because the germs from the litter pan & your floor are on their paws & nails.

if you don't trim your cat's nails when they start to get long they get sharp.
