They need shaq as about as much as the Suns need Shaq. The real question is "how hard is the NBA kicking itself in the *** after they did the rigjob on game2 to force at least a game 6"

The sports shows and sports writers hate on kobe all year the only reason they started talking about kobe is because they FINALLY pulled their heads out of Lebrons **** enough to breathe and see the light. Even after the rig job and choke job the lakers will still force a game 7 probably even win.

in the regular season and most of the playoffs the lakers relied on the fast break to out score their opponent. in the finals you see that the lakers rely to much on kobe in the half court set which mean the celtics defense can concentrate on only kobe this means the ball is not moving and that hurt their three point shooters

in the previous finals if the lakers where in a half court set they could give it to the most dominating player(at that time),shaq and kobe would feed of shaq if he was doubled or etc.

the reason they cannot do this with pau is that he is a finesse player which drives to the lane not like shaq who powers his way to the basket and dunks on his opponent without thinking

the lakers are very different without shaq in the middle and its truly showing in the finals

Kobe, I will admit is kinda a sellout! But for real now, Shaq can't make a free throw for sh*t. Shaq has Height and all and he's been around longer. But he ain't the greatest. And don't even get me started on Nash! Why do they let that boy get away with all that traveling he does? He messes up some games for some good players. Damn!

Wow, you are truly an ignorant Kobe hater. Kobe made it this far without Shaq right? This Laker team is very young and will be together for a while, and with Andrew Bynum coming back next season, who's to say they won't be back again?

Besides, we all know you don't have anything on Kobe.

i think he will win maybe 2 more titles before its all said and done remember the lakers have the second youngest team in the league and i want to see the lakers with bynum and ariza completely healthy (also people seem to forget kobe needs surgery on his pinky but that's not a reason he's playing average right now) so my answer is a big fat YES

MJ and Shaq on no account did do it on my own. that they had great communities helping them in each championship they gained. Kobe gained whilst he did have a team. What does MJ or Shaq have that Kobe would not? LeBron on no account gained a championship.

Nope. Had he gone to college or been less full of himself, Lakers would not have any worries today. But since they've (sports media) made him out to be the best thing since French Toast, he still has delusions of his glory days - which was a very long time ago!

Lost Again Lakers is Los Angeles Lakers' new name

    YES

Possibly this year and LA will be the first team to comeback from a 3-1 series deficit.

Next year when Bynum comes back from injury.
