It is a physical response associated with actively dying. Many patients experience restlessness, agitation and confusion resulting in hallucinations. Much of this is the physical result of the body systems beginning to shut down and the discomfort of not having enough oxygen in the system. There is reaching, twitching, and jerking motions also associated with this stage. Not all patients experience this.

Much like the labor of birth, actively dying can be 'hard' work.

I'm a nurse and worked in nursing home for a couple years. I've seen alot of this. People do some strange things when they are on their death bed. For example, a patient of mine was dying and hadn't ate for 2 weeks no fluids or anything. We had no idea how he was still alive. He had a son he hadn't seen in about 20 years, before he got deathly ill he would talk about him all the time. We finally figured out he was waiting to see his son before he died, the son called him like 3 days later, and said dad it's ok don't hang any longer, and like 30 minutes later he passed away. But, back to your situation, people do see people from their past they have lost when they are dying

I saw that several times and also people have shared that with me. I think she saw something that made her feel good. Whether it is a hallucination or not, I don't know. But, it does seem to be okay for the person who sees it.

i think she saw God stretching His arms toward her to take her to heaven and she reached back. (maybe) sorry for your loss.

    shes no longer suffering.
