What's the difference between LAWN & GA seating at the Hyundai pavilion?

Does anyone one know if chairs are allowed? I was told to bring a blanket to sit on. Can I bring in my own food and drinks? Is one side better than the other? How early should I get there for the best lawn seats?

Lawn vs. GA: For some events, GA is the "pit" area right in front of the stage. No chairs, you dance and stand the whole time. The lawn is in the back.

For most concerts, guests are welcome to bring; snack or picnic food in a clear, plastic, one gallon size bag, one (1) sealed bottle of water; 20 oz maximum, a low profile beach chair.

As each concert and/or performing artist may have specific instructions as to what may be allowed to be brought into the amphitheater, please call on SHOW DAY, for concert specific information.

One side is not really better than the other.
