how does one go about asking for a second opinon for doctor?
when you have like 8 doctors telling you all differant things..... something dont feel right... what do we do... one doc will come in saying this and ten minutes later another will say something toally differant from the makes one think someone doesnt know what they are saying but whatever they are doing so far is not help ing or it is..... kind of lost needs help

i would suggest you see a specialist that is highly regarded in her field. is it a dermatological problem, a respiratory problem, etc? are you seeing specialists or general practicioners? gp's are trained to spot medical problems and, if they cant diagnose it based on their medical expertise (or if they dont feel confident doing so), they will refer you to the proper specialist. now, if you are seeing specialists and all of them are telling you something different, make sure they have your COMPLETE medical history, and tell them everything youve taken (including over-the-counter), all of your issues and symptoms and any illness that has been confidently ruled out. it sounds as if the diagnosis is rare or hard to pinpoint. that can be difficult, but dont give up. many people see several doctors before they come to the right conclusion
