Child support is based off how much time the child spends with you. You may have to pay some to even things out with the general expenses of a child because you make more money.
Good luck and remain friends for your child's sake. It helps, trust me.

if it is completely 50/50, you might no have to pay child support. it wouldnt make sense. if you have BOTH joing legal and physical custody, there shouldn't be any child support.
just google california child support because different states depend on differnet things. some websites are below to help you calculate

is the calculator from the state but it's pretty much up to the court or between you if you work it out in mediation or ??? yourselves.
Fortunately, your incomes are somewhat close so I would think it would be very little since it is 50/50 (and hold your ground on that).

in a 50/50 case i doubt you pay anything.. you still have to pay your bills and your son..
