Brett Favre made the decision to retire, if he is suppose to be a man then he should be adult enough to make his own decision and stick to it. Blaming others and stating you were pressured is irresponsible behavior and childish. If he wanted to play he could have stated that to the Packers and that would be the end of the story. The Management have to plan for the future and not just for one season. Brett has been playing this game for a few years, and all management needed was a honest answer, seems he could not do that.

The new management didnt like to deal with a superstar player,and gave Brett reasons to retire from year to year.If anything it was Deanna that expressed to Favre "Do what you whant"Ted thompson only looks to fill his own pockets,thats hard to do with a player on the payroll taking most of the money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is the packers orginization who forced him to retire, deanna had nothing to do with it.
