Has anybody gotten same day dentures with tooth extraction?

Did you have any gum pain? Can you give me any do's and dont's about getting dentures for the first time.

    Hello,

    Congratulations on getting dentures, and restoring your dentition. Hopefully, after a break-in period (that everyone goes through) your new dentures will fit comfortably and give you the ability to enjoy food again!

    I believe you are referring to "immediate dentures,"when speaking of "same day dentures." You will feel uncomfortable and awkward for a couple of weeks. Your dentist should give you a list of do's and don'ts, as well as aftercare instructions.
