When I say things I regret, I get pretty nervous because I don't want to hurt/upset the person with whom I was talking. I'm quite a nervous person, actually. Practically everyday I get nervous something terrible is going to happen to my family or friends. Because my mom usually works late at night, I get nervous because I don't want her driving at the time when drunk drivers are common. Actually, I have to call my parents and brother numerous times after they leave to go places because I have to be assured they are okay. Another thing I get very nervous about is what is creeping around my room before I go to bed. I have to look both ways about 50 times before I can finally pull the covers over my head. I sometimes have to sleep with the TV because of it. I am a very paranoid person which is why I think I have these symptoms. Strangely, I normally don't get nervous in front of groups of people (such as public speaking, or when people are watching me golf).

i totally agree with Laci M!
but some other things that make me
nervous are when game shows go on
commercial, walking around my basement
when no one is around (i feel like someone's
hiding around the corner or behind a book case),
going out late at night, and what "they" might say.
:]

Talking to my friend's parents on the phone . I never call home phones because I'm afraid the parents might pick up .
That's my only irrational fear .
