Donate unused contacts?

I recently got Lasik done and have several unused, disposable contacts that I'd like to donate to a health organization if possible. Since they are technically prescriptions, I don't know if this is possible. I hate to see them go to waste because they were expensive and perhaps someone else with my prescription can use them. Any advice?

I take contacts back from my patients to donate to other patients who need them, check with optometrist to see if they do the same thing.

You could probably donate them to NHS, unsure if they'd take it though.

Also, you could donate it to the opticians you bought it from, but it would need to be visibly sealed.
