Be yourself. (You aren't a rude person are you?) Americans aren't as uptight as everyone says we are. Americans also like beautiful people. So if you're pretty you'll be okay.

no one needs to be anything in america, the whole country was based on totally different faiths and origins, most of the americans were english once upon atime, new york city was named by the english settlers after their homeland York in england,

Dirty hands, farting on people, cutting lines, blasting music late at night and early in the morning, apparent rolling of the eyes, kissing teeth, kicking dogs, ignoring hellos, swearing loudly, speaking honestly about a strangers appearance, talking in a theater, putting your feet near someone’s face, staring, etc...

If you offend someone, apologize. Most Americans will understand.

Show emotion, laugh, smile, communicate, don't be a stiff and don't complain about every little thing you dislike about America. Just relax, be friendly and have fun.
