Scientific research: where is it now?

I'm looking for some of the references to published scientific papers, and I've found that the local copies of the ones I'm specifically looking for are missing from the collections (much to the dismay of the libraries who hold them).

I'm looking for W C Levengood and N P Talbott's original published work for "Physiologia Plantarum" 105:615-624 (1999) and Dr. Eltjo Haselhoff's publication of the physics involved with crop circle formation, also in Physiologia Plantarum, 111:123-125 (2001). Electronic text would be fine if it includes the charts, math, and diagrams. I've seen it before, and the publications cannot be checked out from the library, so unless they were merely misplaced they've been stolen.

I'm also looking for a work published sometime in 1995 in the American Psychiatric Journal (which I simply don't have access to) which talks about neurophysiological responses to electronic stimuli that cause reactions similar to an NDE and also similar to an alien abduction in some cases. I've seen it generally referenced, but with no specific page or edition references and no actual proof that such a publication actually exists. Again, electronic text would be preferable.

Finally, I'm looking for some previously-available works on PK which are no longer online, which clearly delineated the findings of PK in people from 1970 through 2000. I can find no reason the work was removed, other than to make room for a new web site. The work was previously on the Rhine Institute's web site, and email inquiriess have gone unanswered.

Anyone with information on these is welcome to respond publicly, by email, or by instant message. These works will be used in a book that discusses actual science involving the paranormal, rather than merely relying on the reports of people who are laymen.

Thanks!

Not a particularly uncommon concern dealing with the details of parapsychology research. Many people over the years, including myself when I first started out search for long-lost research papers & reports that were hidden in the hundreds of thousands of mounds of university and college psychology departments, libraries, and professors offices. When I first inquired about similar reports when I was in college, I was denied access to these reports. It was only later that I learned why. Unless you're a medical doctor-(MD), or work for some law enforcement agency, or, you hold a (PhD) or (D.Litt). chances are, you won't get your hands on these types of papers. Also, there is another reason. When I was in school, I wasn't going to settle for such a idiotic answer, so I, like you, went on a quest for out of date papers and unversity research projects that had the most interesting and mind-blowing answers and questions that still had not been answered. Through my several years as a grad student in college, I must have blown weeks on end of just trying to locate these reports and documents. It wasn't until I learned later on the importance of these things.

Typically, anything from 1970, (maybe even 1960) and before, will be increasingly more difficult to locate. 1) These types of prints are out of date, or, they are no longer available via physical-form. 2) Those who finally realized the value of these materials did in fact, take them for themselves, likely never to be seen again. 3) Some materials are just so old and fragile that libraries and historians will no longer allow the general public, (unless you hold a degree and are typically from a university's research lab, etc.), to see these documents.

The trust factor simply isn't there anymore like it was in yesteryear. I don't blame libraries for doing this, although I don't appreciate it, because it makes it bad for everybody who is in the research field for the better of humankind.

Unfortunately, the likelihood of you being able to locate Levengood's original works is higly unfathomable. Those probably reside now in either a university's vault for more prestigious papers and projects, or are in the hands of a historian or scientist who may indeed be a collector, or related to Levengood in some form or another. You can always get copies and revisions from libraries, or just do a search engine, you will definitely be able to locate them there.

I also put in an enquiry to a friend who works as a psychiatrist in Stanford University. This was more so based on Dr. Haselhoff's documentation with crop circles. He exhausted all his resources and the NYC Library where there are thousands of E-Documents, but to no avail was there any research or originals located. I even put in a request for Haselhoff in the British Medical Board Transcripts of all former residents who served in the International Counsel for Medical Science from 1780 to 1967. My research was unsuccessful as well.

(I personally contacted the American Psychiatric Journal and the American Psychiatric Board for reference to what you described, and even alternatives to what you mentioned. I spoke with a Dr. Darryl Ungerfoot from the Dept. of Clinical and Sociological Diseases. He told me that the APJ and APB do not relinquish these materials to just anybody. Those having some sort of medical background or related scientific works can purchase these materials, but they are not open to the general piblic. Also, he explained to be that they hold no such materials for the topic in which I related to him).

It's rather unfortunate the materials you seek are pretty much unreachable, at least for someone who is sort of starting from scratch on an academic level anyway. There are so many ways to the top and not all of them are open. Some roads are barricaded off, while others are just simply inaccessible. If I can find anything at all pertaining to your research or concerns, I will email you immediately!

I wish you the best in your pursuits.

    Regards,

    Dr. J. Freas

First- Lioness gave a great answer, with medical information. I had to function that i think of you'll be able to nicely be lacking the main significant factor. You question regardless of if cooking the beef and killing any doubtlessly risky micro organism is greater helpful than feeding the beef uncooked, yet on the comparable time thoroughly fail to attain that it incredibly isn't any longer suitable if there are micro organism interior the beef. canines have not got the digestive equipment of a human, they digest their food a minimum of four situations faster than we do. The micro organism does not take a seat of their guts long adequate to do the wear and tear it would do to us. I, easily believe, you may attempt to quit evaluating your canines to you and see it for what it incredibly is. As others have mentioned (curtis i believe) balancing a cooked weight loss plan the way you're doing is fairly perplexing by using stripping of food. All diets offered for canines in shops incorporate a nutrition/mineral mixture to make up for the cooking technique.

Contact the Association For Research and Enlightenment. They are primarily researching the readings by Edgar Cayce but they have people that are widely read and may be able to find the works you are looking for if they don't have them in their library already.

You know I don't know the answer to this...but maybe if you go to some sites/groups on here you'll find others who DO have this information...or colleagues/friends of theirs who do. Good Luck. Hope you share with us what you learn from your studies. That's why we're here...to share and learn.
