What is Scott Elarton's "non-baseball medical condition" that is keeping him from playing?

He is a Cleveland Indian and was a first round pick in 1994.

    non-baseball medical condition is just a fancy term for a personal leave of absence. it doesn't necessarily mean that he's sick. it could possibly be that one of his family members like a kid or wife could be gravely ill and need his full attention. another possibility would be that he's got some kind of pathologically chronic disorder like depression and has to take time off for treatment. in any case his absence has to do with a "medical condition" not suffered or relating to any baseball activity.
