I don't have a name for this dish but my husband loves it. I take stew beef meat and brown it in hot oil in a saute pan and then throw in jalapenos/serranos (or any chile you want), cumin, garlic and onion powder, cayenne pepper, chili powder, chipotle chili powder, oregano, cumin seeds, red pepper flakes and enough beef broth to just cover the meat. I cover the pan and turn down the heat to low and let it simmer for 2 1/2 to 3 hours until the meat is fall apart tender. We use the meat to stuff tortillas for burritos, enchiladas, make quesadillas with it, etc.

    Hot Chicken Wings (very hot)

    Ingredients

    1 package chicken wings

    1 bottle Durkee's sauce

    Directions

1Prepare the chicken wings by by splitting them in half at the knuckle.

2Fill the deep fryer with peanut oil (It is best to do this outside because it can get messy).

    3Let the oil heat up.

4Once the oil is hot, put the chicken wings in the basket and lower them in.

5The wings should be cooked long enough to be crispy on the outside but not too long so as to make them overcooked on the inside.

6Once the wings are done, put the bottle of red hot sauce in a large freezer bag and shake the wings in the sauce.

7That's all there is to it.

8This is a great weekend dish.

9Either a snack or you can add some side dishes to make it a dinner.

10This is better than any restaurant's hot wings!
