I see you probably live around the New York Area and is going into 7th grade, 8th grade or high school or maybe even college. :) Anyway, if the graphic calculator is a Texas Instrument one (TI - 83 or TI - 84), it probably won't be sold for less then a hundred because you can plug it into your adapter, ect. It's all worth it in the end. In summer camp, I used one to measure PhD. Loads of fun. You can buy one from an older student, though. I was told at Staples the other day by a worker that they are both the same except TI - 84 has more memory. Hope I helped. :)

good luck finding one cheaper than 100.
The TI-83 Plus I think is the cheapest one you'll find, you should be able to get it for around 90-100.
You gotta understand that these things are basically small desktop computers: they have so much functionality. The price they charge is reasonable for what you're getting.
I own a TI-89 Titanium which goes for 140 on amazon.com, it's amazing. It can do so much stuff that I'm still learning about.
But if basic functionality is all you need, go for the 83 Plus.

Try and buy one second hand from an ex-student? That's all I can really suggest, they are expensive calculators because they are quite complex.
