Does anyone else agree, or have an issue with this?
Most recently, in all the Yahoo changes, the format of Q&A has changed, and one in particular I find to be annoying at the very least.
I depend on Spell Check, and I'm thankful it exists, but the new format in Q & A seems to be "not" worked out yet?
I may type, spelling incorrectly, and let spell check do it's thing, but often what happens is that it crosses over two words. No matter that they may both be spelled correctly, to let Spell check adjust them, then usually brings them together, adding what it deems to be a correction, yet leaving what has been noted as incorrect. All that accomplishes, in my case is to click ignore, go back, re-type the misspelling, or leave it ignored, and then move on.
Does anyone else find this to be a tedious process?
Thank you all so far. As a writer, I never took typing 101, and I'm OK with that. I just find the new format annoying, but as I said I get beyond it. I guess more to the point, is I wonder what was the point of making the format change?

I do, which is one reason I really ignore the spell check and let my errors stand

Actually I never use that spell checker - I have an online one from Google which is much more reliable ( and I can add words to it if it doesn't already know them).
My main problem with the new system is that it seems to be obsessed with punctuation and keeps telling me that I've used too much !
Edit> right now it says I have 2 spelling errors - I disagree.

I noticed when answering several Qs this morning(Australia time) that the original format had returned. Not every Q, but more than half. But it was no good then anyway, so I don't see that anything is different. It is confusing when it insists on using American spelling.

Yes ! What really gets me is when they indicate something is misspelled and give the correct spelling as the exact same thing that I have written .
