Can you tell me your version of Mother Theresa?

Cause I read some good and bad things about her but I'm not sure which one is true.

Sorry if this question is not in the right section

Update:

She supposed to help many poor families in India and many more around the world.

She also suppose to let people suffer because the way to Christ is through suffering.

Mother Theresa = a woman who enjoyed other people's suffering, and wanted people to suffer, because she believed that "we see Christ in the broken body" (her words). She set up filthy "houses of the dying" in Calcutta, where people were brought to live out the rest of their lives in squalor, sleeping on the floor in a cluttered room. Visitors from relatives were not allowed. Also, she squandered millions of dollars on NUNNERIES.

    Pope Benedict

(Silence all because of sin Isaiah 59:2). God does not listen to sinners like mother Theresa despite all her charitable work)

LORETO, Italy - Even the late Mother Teresa of Calcutta "suffered from the silence of God" Pope Benedict said on Saturday, despite her immense charity and faith.

The Pope, addressing a youth rally in central Italy, referred to a new book that reveals that the Roman Catholic nun was deeply tormented about her faith and suffered periods of doubt about God.

It is significant that the Pope mentioned Mother Teresa's torment about God's silence as not being unusual because there was some speculation that the letters could hurt the procedure to make her a saint.

"All believers know about the silence of God," he said in unprepared remarks. "Even Mother Teresa, with all her charity and force of faith, suffered from the silence of God," he said.

He said believers sometimes had to withstand the silence of God in order to understand the situation of people who do not believe.

Due out on September 4, the book, Mother Teresa: Come Be My Light is a collection of letters written to colleagues and superiors over 66 years.

I think she came from Albania. She was a good woman. She lived much of her life helping the poor in Calcutta. Never heard anything good regarding her faith. Kind of doubtful that she knew Christ as her Saviour.

Obviously, not being Catholic, I've never really known much about Mother Theresa. I've certainly never heard anything "bad" about her, I've always thought that she was doing God's work and helping people. I will look into it now, though

I believe she was a good woman but no saint. but certainly better than most who claim to be serving God.
