The learned speakers at the Dem Convention keep talking about the "Working Families". Who are they?
They make it sound like you are not a working family, if you are not a Democrat. "We have to do it for the Working Families." What socio-economic status defines them? If I am a Republican or an Independent, am I excluded? If I qualify, and don't want their government run, socialized medical care, do I then get booted out of their Working Family status? Again, what is their definition of a "Working Family?"
So from what I'm hearing, you have to be struggling to make ends meet, working long and hard hours for low wages. Does that mean that if we have a decent job, working long and hard hours and are getting by quite well, we are not working families, because we do not have enough strife in our lives? Do I have to be a uinon worker to be part of a working family?

It's code-talk for "If you FEEL like the world, the evil corporations, and/or the evil George Bush are screwing you over, then send us your money and we'll take care of you." Same-o, same-o.
When it comes to the reality of the term I GUARANTEE YOU that the working families that the Dems are NOT speaking to work much longer and harder than do the working families that the Dems hope to snare with their double-talk. Yes, dreamers, it's true; so sorry to break it to you!

Did you watch the convention? They had about 20 working families on just last night. People who work hard, but still struggle to make ends meet.

Look you have to realize that the democrats have used that for years and they do not have a clue as to who is the working class or middle class are. Also the economy is a by word for every election but when they have won all have been forgotten. It is known as election male bovine manure.

They mean folks on the edge financially, usually with children, and always laboring under some handicap or facing some unpleasant future.
Wal Mart workers don't qualify because they are non-union.

Do you remember that single mother with 3 jobs that bush gushed over how "Only in America!" he was so PROUD of her that she was working all those jobs????
(what a moron)
THAT's who. People who are killing themselves just to pay their bills. Has NOTHING to do with political parties.

I don't know why they just don't say they need more white voters on board. It's the truth, and when they can grow a pair and say so, we can start dealing with the real issues concerning why more white voters have not come on board yet.

Please don't expect anyone for the Democratic party to know what a 'working family' is. Just rest assured if they are in fact speaking of you and me, we are only referred to as the 'tax base'

No, you get what's best for you even if you don't want it. Now go to your room and finish your homework. I advise you study rhetoric some more.
