Why hasn't the press jumped all over Nancy Polocy's statement about when life begins? ?

The bishops of this country have stated unequivocally that life begins at conception. She was trying to change the Catholic policy by stating that she is a good Catholic and knows the rulings of the Church. Were is the press about this?

Maybe the press doesn't see this as news since it's always been part of her publicly stated views. I don't agree with her, but it just seems like this isn't anything any idiot shouldn't already know about her. It's kinda like being suprised that Dubya thinks we should give Exxon another tax break.

The Media do not like the Catholic Church any more than they like Conservatives.

The Media would like the Catholic Church better if it would change its position on the sanctity of human life. The Media would still not become friendly though.

A lot of Catholics share many Liberal beliefs, but still support the right to life, and might vote Republican if this issue were brought to their attention more often. So, the Media prefer not to report it.

Besides, I think Pelosi is not so well known outside California; I may be wrong.

LOL It's "above Obama's pay grade" to have an opinion of this. But we know how he votes.

I am more concerned about her lack of knowledge on this important subject. There is no question as to the fact that life begins at conception. Some may claim it isn't human life (which is also incorrect) but few would dispute that it is life..

No one cares what Pelosi thinks. Even the Dems know she is a nut case.Joe Biden, also a "good' Catholic is pro-choice. Where is the coverage of that?

Actually I think that she didn't write what she said. I hope that was her problem because she's a terrible speaker and especially at a convention. A real sleeper. The press missed it for that reason.

Two reasons: 1) They agree with her assessment 2) They don't want to get in the way of the love fest in Denver.

Mainstream media policy: Only Republicans morals and personal values are considered newsworthy.

Pelosi gets a free pass from the liberal elite media in this country.

The media is very adept at hiding Liberal beliefs. If they didn't, far fewer liberals would get elected. They have to hide their true beliefs to get elected.

because she is a liberal and she is hardly relevant.
