Republicans didn't bash Mrs. Obama. She was always off-limits and always will be. It is unfair to bring family into something unless it is a major issue.

The whole reason Obama issued that statement saying families were off-limits was because he didn't want to seem like a hypocrite. When his wife stated that line, Obama said family is off limits. Now that this controversy came about, if Obama didn't issue a statement, the Republicans would be all over him for being a hypocrite.

I do still respect Obama for making a statement about the controversy, but no one is listening to him. I still turn on the TV and see the headline, Palin's 17 Year Old Daughter PREGNANT!

The problem is that the media HAVE NOT been looking at Obama's past. But a young, conservative woman is apparently fair game...and she isn't even running for president. Barack Obama is a radical who needs to answer some tough questions. I would say that Palin's experience and her daughter's pregnancy are nothing compared to Obama's issues. What's incredible is the fact that Obama seems to be skipping along without having to explain to the American people who he is.

I know, should we not pick on her because she's a girl? I don't think anyone is attacking her children, just her choices as a parent. Obama has defended the rights of the children to be left alone. I think someone made issue with the amount of allowance his get per week at one time.
