How do I keep coffee fresh.?

I ground the coffee beans and was wondering how do I keep the rest fresh?

    in a sealed up container (air locked) at room temperature. putting it in the freezer is actually a bad idea, it will make your coffee stale! i work in a coffee shop... i know what i'm talking about!!!

    Keep it in a air tight container and I keep mine in the freezer or fridge.

    Store it in the freezer :) Just make sure to keep it in an airtight container... That can be frozen.

    Keep it in the refridgerator with a tight lid.

    Source(s): my uncle would always grind the coffee beans in the store and when he arrived home he would transfer the coffee from the bag into a glass jar with tight lid and keep it in the fridge.
