Find the particular sol'n to this Diff Equa ,with following Boundary condition.?
d^2y/x^2 - 4dy/dx = 8, y= dy/dx = 0 when x =0
I know the complementary function is y A +Be^4x
I also know that particular integral y=C, since 8 is a constant.
y' = 0, y'' =0, Substituting in the original Equation C=0. I need some help.

homogeneous solution is y = A + Be^(4x), correct.
particular solution is y = C, incorrect.
should be y = Cx.
Then y' = C and y'' = 0 makes -4C = 8, so C = -2.
y = -2x.
