Does anyone remember the "Arctic Orange" shake at McDonald's?

It had to be either 1978 or 79. I was a kid visiting relatives in Downer's Grove, Illinois. I remember seeing a McDonald's ad for "Arctic Orange" shakes. The ad featured a man dressed as an eskimo with the Chicago skyline behind him. I believe the ad mentioned that the shake was available only for a limited time and only in the greater Chicago area. I even had the opportunity to try one. Anybody else remember this?

I grew up in Chicago and I remember the commercial! I think he was ice fishing, too. Geez, I wish I could remember what he was saying...

And yes, they were great. Those and Shamrock Shakes were the two specialty flavors they did have for a limited time during the year.

I remember this commercial vividly and have been searching for it online. Not only was he dressed as an Eskimo, he also sang a song of nonsense words that went something like "Nikki nowee kunnu kukki funo feeno sho" or something like that. By today s standards would be considered not PC but was a funny commercial for the times

SOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD !!! I was 11 years old. They have had it one time as a special here in Oregon but that was about 3 years ago. To me it wasn't the same taste.

Call me crazy, but I remember the taste.

    Like an Orange Creamcicle.
