I have an autistic brother-in-law that is very low functioning. He needs something to occupy his time?

He is very low functioning, lacks the ability to speak or express himself, and can be troublesome and difficult to control and take care of. He currently is into beading but has anyone found any other crafts or craft type activities that they have found that autistic individuals are drawn to that we might try with him? The more he is occupied the less fixated he is on other things that he sometimes gets frustrated if he can't have.

Does your brother-in-law like to be driven around while listening to music? I know a friend of mine drives someone who is autistic around about three times per week and he loves it!
